About the event
In partnership with the City of Toronto's Music Office, the Toronto Arab Orchestra presents Diwan: An Ode to Sufism ("ديوان "عن العشق الإلهي), a special concert that pays tribute to Sufism in Arabic and Persian poetry. Directed by Gaby Al Botros, the concert features vocalist Habib Hoseini and the singers of the Toronto Arab Orchestra choir. The orchestra will be joined by the Toronto Daf Ensemble, led by Zohreh Shahbazy.
Diwan is an original orchestral composition by Husam Numan and Gaby Al Botros. We promise this will be an unforgettable performance!
